Our Approach

Achieving lasting personal change requires a shift in perspective—seeing old problems through new eyes. Dr. Greene and his team provide a caring environment in which fresh solutions can be envisioned and implemented.

Establishing a treatment contract—a core element in the therapy process—is fundamental to our clinical approach. A clear contract has immeasurable value in clarifying goals, designating members of the therapeutic team, and foreseeing critical roadblocks to treatment success.

Our staff works with teens, college students, adults, and couples.

Greenepsych Walk - and - Talk Therapy

Outdoor, walk-and-talk therapy is an option for those who benefit from a non-traditional approach to getting the help they need. Therapy sessions take place out of the office in a more natural setting, such as a park or nature path.

This unconventional but extremely effective approach is great during COVID-19, and for those who find it challenging to come to an office setting for one reason or another.

Services

  • Individual

We see clients 10 year of age and older. Teenagers often spend the majority of the first session talking alone with one of our therapists, unless they are more comfortable having a parent join them for the session.

At this time, virtual and phone appointments are available.

Please contact Dr. Greene for specific information about pricing for sessions.

  • Group

Dr. Greene and his staff run several therapy groups ranging from Teaching Mindfulness to Manage Stress to Managing the Transitions from High School to College. Additional groups have been offered on topics such as The Depressed Teenager, Helping Shy/Anxious College Students, as well as a supervision group for license-eligible mental health professionals.

For more information on upcoming groups, please contact Dr. Greene.
